I was selected for the SMILE (Student Mobilisation Initiative for Learning through Exposure) internship of Pravah in 2019. Pravah is a Delhi based organisation which works with young people to impact issues of social justice through youth citizenship action. In this internship, we had a 5-day camp and then sent to different organisations as volunteers. I was sent to Manthan Kotri, Rajasthan; this organisation works mainly on water conservation and with disadvantaged communities. I had to learn about one community in the village and write a report about what I saw and learnt. I also helped the organisation to conduct their annual meet and translate some of their reports from Hindi to English.
